January 18th baby's first bobo.
OMG I will never forget this day. My poor son was left alone in his crib ( I obviously should have been in the crib with him!!) Bad crib! Bad crib!
Sorry back to the story, I was trying to let Gus nap in his crib while I tried to eat. He was a little fussy but was okay, we're into the testing stage. Anyway I hear him scream and I'm like super calm walking in his room with "hey buddy you're okay" and there was my bad mommy moment. My poor child had blood all along the outside of his right nostril. OMG I grabbed my screaming child and ran for the phone. I was thinking holy crap my son has a brain hemorrhage, is he bleeding out of his ears? No. Is he bleeding out of his eyes? No. Where is the source of blood coming for? I need to know to make a clear 911 call. Ok lets get a wash cloth and wipe away the blood...wait a second the blood is not inside his nose only on the outside.
Ladies and gentlemen the blood was only on the outside because my son had just scratched his nose with his long nails. Thank God I didn't call 911. After that intense ordeal my son had a manicure!
Motherhood makes you crazy!
What else can I tell you??? My little boy now seven weeks old and loves bath time. He is growing like a weed tipping the scales at 12.5lbs and he is wearing clothes for 3-6 month olds.
We have successfully gotten our boy on a sleep schedule. However we have had a few bumps in the road the last couple of weeks. Nonetheless we are back on track now. I have been trying to get back to emails and back on my blog but I have a royal cutie who rules the priority list.
