I have enjoyed every moment of mommy-hood thus far. I have also enjoyed watching my husband be an amazing father to our son. I have to say seeing my husband get his hands dirty, put a silly face on and get on the floor to play; makes my heart beam. I have been falling in love with Justin (my husband) a little more everyday and now that Angus is in our lives, I am head-over-heels in love and that honestly is the best feeling ever. We met when I was 19 and he had just turned 21, so at that time neither one of us was looking for 'the one' but it's amazing what you find when you're not looking. This summer we will be celebrating 10 years together and 5 years of marriage. I feel that our family is the greatest show of love that we could give each other.
If I could pick the perfect father for my son, I would pick Justin time and time again. He is not shy to be emotional and he is so passionate about being the best person that he can be. I tell AJ everyday that his daddy is superman. I feel that every moment you have with each other it is important to say how much you love each other and also to remind ourselves how much we are loved. My son has a world of people who love him, it takes a while to get through all of the names of his guardian angels in heaven and on earth.
I wouldn't want to change any part of my life. There are days where I need to remind myself of that fact but I am so blessed, I really am thankful. Today my son is 8 weeks old and 14.5lbs. He is a big boy with a big heart.
